Stefon Diggs had a lead item on his agenda this summer after his trade from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans: log as many hours with C.J. Stroud as possible.
Diggs, now entering his 10th NFL season and eyeing a sixth 100-catch campaign, can consider his preseason mission accomplished ahead of Sunday's Week 1 contest at the Indianapolis Colts. Diggs was dealt to Houston in early April. He saw Stroud and his fellow Texans' receivers plenty before training camp began in Houston in July. Stroud, Diggs and fellow Houston wideout Tank Dell worked out together in Los Angeles within a week of the blockbuster deal.
