The newly-minted Houston Texans wide receiver posted a message to X over the weekend lamenting a common gripe echoed by those acclimating to the city's highways and feeders—namely, if you miss your off-ramp, you have now just doubled your travel time.
"Houston damn why yaw ain't tell me you miss one exit you for sure added 17 minutes to the destination," Diggs wrote.
He's not wrong, of course. The highway system here is not just confusing, but daunting. The first time I drove to my office off the Southwest Freeway, I missed the exit for Newcastle Drive because I was not in the far enough right lane, and too many cars stood in my way to make a change.
