The Texans worked out former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Jake Fisher on Friday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Fisher is a former Bengals starting tackle and second-round draft pick who is trying to become a blocking tight end.
The 6-6, 285-pounder could provide a blocking presence not currently on the roster.
The former Oregon standout has two career catches for 43 yards.
