When I was in elementary school they would throw us all in the cafeteria this time of year. Everyone. All the teachers. Each student from kindergarten up to fifth grade. We would sit on the floor and the music teacher would break out the projector. On it would be lyrics to these songs, these classic songs, Jingle Bell Rock, Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Feliz Navidad. It was some real Mickey Mouse stuff.
As an adult I can’t take Christmas music. They start playing it before Thanksgiving. For five weeks you can’t walk into any establishment without hearing the scourge of holly jolly red and green music around.
