At The Patio, hundreds of fans oohed and ahhed as the Titans and Chiefs wrangled up and down the field.
Fans showed up at noon. Almost every table was reserved, said Colleen Sexton, one of the Patio’s bartenders.
“I’m a little superstitious, I like to think positive vibes. I didn’t think this was going to happen,” she said, pointing at the TV, where the Texans led the Chiefs by three touchdowns.
“But there’s still a lot of time left,” she said, with a nervous grin. The aroma of fresh brisket – from The Pit Room – filled the air.
