The Texans had four scoring drives in Sunday’s 20-13 win over the Detroit Lions. However, it was the last one, a 36-yard field goal by Nick Novak, that may have been the most significant. With just two healthy wide receivers, DeAndre Hopkins and Braxton Miller, left in the game, Houston's offense relied heavily on the run game. Brock Osweiler led a nine-play, 47-yard drive that consumed considerable 6:05 of the fourth quarter.
“That’s one of those deals where I believe the offensive line, the tight ends, fullback, and running backs really took over the game,” Osweiler said.
