INDIANAPOLIS - Errant passes and erratic performances defined quarterback Brock Osweiler's first season with the Texans.
Signed to a $72 million contract that included $37 million in guaranteed money, Osweiler didn't prove he was worthy of the Texans' hefty investment in him.
Tied to the Texans with a $16 million guaranteed salary for next season, Osweiler is now being tasked with improving amidst constant speculation linking the defending AFC South champions to Dallas Cowboys veteran Tony Romo.
"It's no real difference in what we've talked about before during the offseason," Texans general manager Rick Smith said Thursday at the NFL scouting combine when asked about Osweiler.
