One of the most rugged fullbacks to play in the NFL in the past decade, popular former Texans Pro Bowl lead blocker Vonta Leach returned to the AFC South team in an ambassador role Sunday.
Leach is retired from the NFL after 10 seasons.
"It's good to come back and just to see the evolution of the program and where it's headed to and just to come out and see practice from a different side after being a player here," Leach said. "It's a pretty neat experience."
Leach, 34, played in the NFL for 10 seasons as a former undrafted free agent from East Carolina who started his career with the Green Bay Packers.
