The Texans were able to get some business done as they continue to try and bring A.J. Bouye back for 2017.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Texans have agreed to new contracts with punter Shane Lechler and kicker Nick Novak.

Novak was able to connect on 85.4 percent of his field goal attempts last season. His longest was from 53 yards out.
Even though Lecher isn’t getting any younger at the age of 40, he’s still a very effective punter and worth having on the Texans’ roster.
