Senio Kelemete came to Houston as a free agent back in March of 2018. He played both guard and tackle during his time with the Saints; the prevailing thought was that Kelemete could immediately step in and hold down one of the starting guard spots on what was then a simply horrendous Texans’ offensive line.
Kelemete did just that in 2018, though I don’t think any Texans fan would say that he met what now could be considered unreasonable expectations. With the arrival of Tytus Howard and Max Scharping in the 2019 NFL Draft, things were bound to get more competitive for Kelemete and the other veteran offensive linemen no matter what, but Kelemete got hurt early in 2019 and found himself on IR before September was over.
