For Cowboys fans, it's been odd not seeing Jason Witten, who played his entire 15-year career with the team, lined up at tight end this season.
Apparently, head coach Jason Garrett feels the same way.
According to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cowboys' head coach has tried to convince Witten to leave the broadcast booth at Monday Night Football, come out of retirement and rejoin the Cowboys to make a playoff push.
Witten, 36, has reportedly rejected Garrett's multiple requests and is focused on his broadcasting career.
The Cowboys have won four consecutive games and sit atop the NFC East with a 7-5 record ahead of their Sunday afternoon matchup with the Eagles.
