New York Giants stud receiver Odell Beckham Jr., clearly lost his cool in his head-to-head battle with Carolina lockdown cornerback Josh Norman on Sunday. While the league is expected to dole out a hefty fine and possibly a suspension for Beckham, some are saying there is an explanation for Beckham's temperamental behavior.
Before the game, at least one Carolina Panthers player was walking around the field with a black baseball bat and using it to gesture toward Beckham during pregame warmups.
Some are saying Beckham felt threatened by the presence of the baseball bat and it put him in a different state of mind during the game.
