Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas posted a short video to his Instagram page Wednesday night in an attempt to "get ahead" of a TMZ report that involves an altercation with his wife Nina Thomas.
Instead of waiting, TMZ published its article late Wednesday night with details from an April 13 incident at a home in Austin.
According to court documents TMZ obtained, cops responded to a disturbance call at 3:41 a.m., and arrived to find Nina wielding a knife and chasing Earl who had a pistol in his hand.
After a dispute over his drinking, Earl's brother Seth Thomas came to pick him up and the two left the house.
