Current St. Louis Rams - and former West Virginia - receiver Stedman Bailey was shot twice in the head during a drive-by shooting late Tuesday night in South Florida. Bailey is expected to undergo surgery today, and is in critical, but stable condition.
According to an ESPN report, Bailey was sitting in a car with several people when he was shot. The driver of the car was shot multiple times while attempting to shield children in the car from bullets. The children in the car were unharmed, according to police.
The Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson was the first to confirm the shooting.
