Johnny Manziel has been ordered to keep his distance from his ex-girlfriend.
A Tarrant County judge issued a protective order that bans Manziel from seeing ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley for two years, Dallas television station WFAA reported.
The troubled Cleveland Browns quarterback must stay at least 500 feet away from Crowley's home and place of employment. He also must pay $12,000 in legal fees.
In her Feb. 3 application for the protective order, Crowley said Manziel was "likely to commit family violence against me if a protective order is not granted."
According to WFAA, the judge issued the order the day the request was filed, stating "The court finds there is reason to believe that family violence occurred.
