Entering this season, Pro Football Focus projected the Texans to have the worst offensive line in football. Through two weeks of the 2018 season, it’s been bad. Houston is ranked 31st under PFF’s metrics. The Texans are running the ball well straight ahead, but Deshaun Watson hasn’t been give enough time to throw (especially with Senio Kelemete having bad hands). Both Juli’en Davenport and Martinas Rankin get ripped around the edge.
Still, things should get better. Houston’s tackles are young and neither has started more than two games at the position they’re playing now.
