Second-year wide receiver will miss time with an undisclosed injury but will return this season, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.
"Any time you lose a player for a little bit here of the caliber of Will, it’s something the next guy’s got to step up," O'Brien said Thursday. "That’s the NFL, that’s training camp. Injuries happen, next man up. Will will be back. It’s not a season-ending injury. He’ll be back in Houston rehabbing. He’ll be back as soon as he can.”
Fuller V left Wednesday's training camp practice with an injury. Drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Fuller had made good progress throughout the offseason and camp.
