However, head coach Bill O'Brien hasn't ruled the wide receiver out for Sunday's gamea against Tampa Bay.
"I was told today that he looked pretty good," O'Brien said. "We’ll see how it is tomorrow, but again, he has to pass the concussion test in order to play. But I was told he feels and looks pretty good today.”
O'Brien said Hopkins came to work Monday with symptoms of a concussion. The third-year pass catcher was at practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was limited. The head coach stressed that while he's not a doctor, Hopkins "sounds good to me".
