James Harrison has been anything but subtle during his NFL career, on or off the field.
Now, he's decided to speak out about the "participation medal" culture of youth sports.
In an Instagram rant over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker expressed his dismay at finding out his two sons were given trophies after participating at a camp run by former Steelers teammate Charlie Batch. Harrison said he would have his sons return the trophies.
"I’m not sorry for believing that everything in life should be earned and I’m not about to raise two boys to be men by making them believe that they are entitled to something just because they tried their best," he said.
