Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson once lived a somewhat nomadic existence during his offseasons as a man in search of a good workout around Houston.
The Pro Bowl runner would travel around Houston with longtime trainer James Cooper for a series of rigorous workouts that included running on a track, plyometrics, agility drills, running up hills, lifting weights, swimming, boxing and martial arts.
It reached a point of extreme inconvenience where the former NFL Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year and Cooper came up with a vision of building a state-of-the-art training facility where he could centralize his legendary exercise regimen.
