NFL fines Texans' Corey Moore for preseason socks violation

The NFL takes its uniform policies very seriously.

And Texans safety Corey Moore ran afoul of the league's dress code during a preseason finale against the Dallas Cowboys.

Moore said he was fined $6,715 by the NFL for not wearing his socks properly during the Cowboys game.

He is appealing the NFL punishment.

Moore avoided a fine for a personal foul during the preseason when he was flagged for a hit on Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Brittan Golden.
