NFL Draft: Texans select RB Tyler Ervin

Offensive overhaul has been the theme for the Houston Texans this offseason, and on day three of the draft, that hasn’t changed. With the 21st pick in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft (119th overall) the Texans selected San Jose State running back Tyler Ervin.

The undersized running back could be a a great change of pace back in Houston, who happened to find their every down back in free agency in Lamar Miller. The 5-foot-10, 192 pound back is blazing fast and comes off a season in which he recorded 1,601 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground with another 339 yards and two touchdowns off 45 receptions.
