The late 20s aren't typically the golden years for NFL running backs, but the opinion around the league seems to be that Joe Mixon still has plenty left in the tank.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler surveyed NFL executives, coaches and scouts to gauge the league's running back landscape, with the Houston Texans' offseason pickup landing just outside the top-10 rankings. Mixon was grouped in the honorable mentions, alongside Aaron Jones (Minnesota Vikings), Kenneth Walker III (Seattle Seahawks), Isaiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs), James Cook (Buffalo Bills), Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints) and D'Andre Swift (Chicago Bears).
