It was a long, frustrating wait for veteran linebacker Sio Moore to find a new football team.
Declared an unrestricted free agent in March, Moore had to quietly wait for months and watch other linebackers be awarded new contracts.
Finally last Friday, Moore signed a contract with the Texans after they cut linebacker Max Bullough in the wake of him being suspended for four games for violating the NFL performance-enhancing drug policy.
Moore was all smiles Tuesday following practice.
“It was definitely a good relief to finally have a team and have coaches and an organization believe in me and being able to see what I can do and give me the opportunity to show that," Moore said.
