For Texans cornerback Johnthan Banks, it couldn't have been a more challenging debut with his new football team.
Although Banks quickly absorbed the playbook after signing with the Texans last Tuesday, his first game with the Texans was against New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady went after Banks early during the Texans' 36-33 loss at Gillette Stadium, completing a 44-yard pass in the first quarter to wide receiver Brandin Cooks that set up a touchdown to tight end Rob Gronkowski.
"Yeah, I was pretty rusty," said Banks, who has recovered from a knee injury that preceded him being cut by the Chicago Bears.
