Standing inside the Texans' locker room Wednesday, cornerback Johnathan Banks was soaking up the atmosphere and pleased to be back on an NFL roster.
Banks signed with the Texans on Tuesday following a successful tryout that included defensive backs B.W. Webb, Stanley Jean-Baptiste, Josh Thornton and Corey White.
"It feels good," Banks said. "Just happy to have a job. I was at home sitting on the couch."
Banks was cut by the Chicago Bears and is fully healthy again after dealing with a knee injury.
This was his first tryout since being cut by the Bears.
