There’s been quite a bit of talk and speculation about whether the Houston Texans have tried to, or are currently trying to, trade Jadeveon Clowney. I’ve never really bought into the idea that the team, especially without a general manager, would try to do that at this point in the NFL calendar. Yet Mike Lombardi, a former NFL executive who has transitioned to a role in the media, said earlier today that the Texans are in fact about to part ways with Clowney, and that the relationship between the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and the organization that selected him is going to end very, very soon.
