After the Dallas Cowboys got all their fans' hopes up, their once-vaunted defense gave up 273 rushing yards - including 123 to NFL castoff C.J. Anderson - and were booted from the playoffs with a 30-22 loss to the Rams on Saturday night at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
It was a good Saturday for Texans fans, with the Cowboys being eliminated on the same day as the Texans' AFC South rival Indianapolis Colts. Hey ... when your team was knocked out a week earlier, Texans fans will take their wins wherever they can get them.
If Cowboys fans want to get too cocky about advancing to the second round of the playoffs, just remind them that they still have the exact same number of playoff wins (4) as the Texans have since Houston got another football team in 2002.
