Give Della Meredith a block of wood, and she can make just about anything out of it.
The 40-year-old La Porte woman recently took a huge piece of cypress wood and turned it into J.J. Watt.
The former Splendora and Humble art teacher said it took her four or five days to produce the five-foot statue that weighs about 80 pounds.

Meredith told click2houston that she hoped Watt would see her creation.
"I would love to see his reaction or hear what he thought about it," Watt told the local NBC affiliate.
