The Houston Texans offense largely sputtered Sunday, with C.J. Stroud and Co. shut out in the first half of a 34-7 loss at the Minnesota Vikings. Self-inflicted wounds were largely to blame for Houston's ugly Week 3 outing.
Houston committed 11 penalties in total in its first loss of 2024. Early gaffes on the offensive end provided the greatest source of frustration. High-priced offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil in particular struggled Sunday as he committed six penalties (five in the first half), pairing three false starts with a trio of illegal procedure fouls.
