Johnny Manziel is back as the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback, but it appears the troubled former Texas A&M star doesn't have much margin for error off the field.
Browns coach Mike Pettine told reporters Wednesday that the leash is short for Manziel, who was reinstated to the starting gig two weeks after he was demoted to third string after video of him partying in Austin during the team's bye week went viral. He then reportedly lied to team officials about it.
On Wednesday, Pettine said "repercussions would be harsh" if Manziel failed to toe the line in his off-field activities.
