When the Texans cut former starting defensive end Joel Heath before the season, it led him to an odyssey of tryouts and frequent-flier miles.

Heath worked out for seven teams this season, including the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.
He was re-signed to the active roster this week after working out for the Texans along with defensive tackle Caraun Reid.
Now, Heath has been reunited with his teammates.
"It feels great," Heath said Friday.
