Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt sacked New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning three times Sunday.
They were the first sacks Watt has recorded since a Sept. 18, 2016 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year had been limited to 1 ½ sacks over the previous two seasons. Watt missed the majority of those years with a broken leg and back issues that required surgeries.
"Losing sucks, so you can never take anything good away from a loss," Watt said. "I said I've been knocking the rust off since the first half of the first game and it's been going little by little.
