The fundraising juggernaut that is Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt hit another huge milestone with the help of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
Degeneres contributed a $1 million donation on behalf of Walmart, pushing his fundraising relief fund for victims of Hurricane Harvey to $8.934 million as he approaches his new goal of $10 million.
"When Texas needed him, J.J. Watt was there," DeGeneres wrote on Twitter. "I was honored to help make this amazing gift from Walmart possible."
Watt responded to DeGeneres' donation on Twitter: "This was truly unbelievable. Thank you Ellen! We're over $8.
