For the past few years, Jared Crick provided a steady, run-stopping presence for the Texans' defensive line.
Lining up across from star left defensive end J.J. Watt, Crick was a blue-collar worker who did the dirty work as an edge-setting presence and worked well in tandem with the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Now that Crick is gone after signing a two-year, $4 million contract with the Denver Broncos, there's a huge vacancy at right defensive end and opportunity for the other players on the roster.
Among the candidates at right defensive end: Devon Still, Jeoffrey Pagan, Christian Covington and Brandon Dunn.
