The Dallas Cowboys, who at least one expert predicted could win 13 games this season, instead went 6-10 despite playing in one of the historically weakest divisions in league history.
That didn’t stop Jerry Jones from thumping his chest Tuesday morning.
"I think we set the world record for attendance for a venue this year at our stadium in the world of pandemic,” the Cowboys owner said on his weekly appearance on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan. “And the results were extremely safe, maybe at the top with much less attendance."

It's unclear if anyone else is actually keeping track of a possible world record for attendance during a global pandemic, but it's probably true the Cowboys would own it.
