Former Texans starting defensive end Jared Crick signed a two-year contract with the Denver Broncos, reuniting him with coach Gary Kubiak and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.
Crick was an unrestricted free agent whose four-year, $3.39 million contract had expired.
Crick has 146 career tackles and 5.5 sacks. Last season, the former Nebraska standout recorded 48 tackles and two sacks as he started every game.
Crick had expressed hope about potentially rejoining the Texans upon becoming a free agent but will now play for Kubiak, Phillips and former Texans defensive line coach Bill Kollar for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
