Outspoken Jacksonville Jaguars rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey blasted the officiating crew led by referee Ed Hochuli following a 21-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday at NRG Stadium.
Ramsey went off, even wrongly accusing line judge Dale Shaw of being related to Texans Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. He called for Shaw to be fired.
The first-round draft pick's comments were over the top and will likely draw a hefty fine from the league office. It could be as much as $25,000.
Ramsey was upset about a defensive pass interference penalty assessed on him during the Texans' lone touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.
