A day after agreeing to a new three-year contract, Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz made a strong pitch to prospective free agents during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
Schultz spoke glowingly of the Texans' organizational culture on Wednesday, praising everyone from first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans and star quarterback C.J. Stroud to all the behind-the-scenes aspects that often go unnoticed by outsiders. He called the Texans a "well-oiled machine," which is a stark contrast to the dysfunctional perception of the team in previous seasons.
"I can't speak to the previous stuff, but the strength staff is phenomenal, the training staff unbelievable," Schultz said.
