Angelo State All-American quarterback Kyle Washington has been invited to the Texans' local prospect day, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
The Humble graduate has been cross-training as a wide receiver.
Big and fast at 6-5, 218 pounds with 4.5 to 4.6 times in the 40-yard dash. Washington was named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the past two seasons.
Washington passed for a school-record 3,691 yards and 27 touchdowns last season with nine interceptions. He also rushed for 831 yards and 15 touchdowns.
As a junior, Washington passed for 3,236 yards and 34 touchdowns.
