Before the lost season started last year, I felt confident, if not outright certain, that the Houston Texans (+7)
would be the first team to go 0-17 and thus bathe our favorite team in the wrong kind of glory. They had no real coach, the team had a massive overhaul of players, most of whom were not all that good, and we were in the middle of a season-long hissy fit from our former starting quarterback whose name escapes me at the moment.
All of those things made a winless season ripe for the having.
