Netflix’s most recent foray into live sports broadcasting ended with frustration from many viewers who experienced buffering and lag time during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match. Houston football fans won’t have to worry about a similar issue arising on Christmas Day.
The Texans’ highly-anticipated Christmas tilt against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will be broadcast on both Netflix and KHOU, the local CBS affiliate in the Houston area. The dual-broadcast situation isn’t totally new for Houston fans this season. The Texans faced Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football on Halloween, a game broadcast nationally via Amazon Prime.
