Now that C.J. Stroud's rookie season with the Houston Texans is in the book, there's a natural curiosity to debate where he stacks up all-time.
While Stroud has already received plenty of praise—and took home the offensive and overall Rookie of the Year awards voted on by the Pro Football Writers Association—he'll have to wait until the NFL Honors ceremony later this month to see if he's earned one of the league's top rookie prizes.
To compare Stroud's first NFL season to that of an early 2000s quarterback who received the award, like Pittsburgh Steelers' all-timer Ben Roethlisberger, is difficult give how the game has changed.
