It's bad enough that Bud Adams and the Oilers bailed on the city and moved to Tennessee, then refused to allow the city to keep its football namesake and tradition like the Baltimore Ravens did for the Browns when they crept their way out of Cleveland, but they continue to twist the knife by claiming Oilers lore as their own.
When the Titans opened their Ring of Honor in 2008, they inducted several former Oilers who never had any association with Tennessee, including: Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Mike Munchak, Elvin Bethea, Ken Houston and George Blanda.
