HOUSTON -- In an examination of why the Green Bay Packers' passing offense has struggled this season, colleague Rob Demovsky collected data from every team on the 40-yard dash times of the top three receivers and top tight end.
What he found confirmed his suspicions -- that the Packers' receiving group is very slow. They had the slowest average 40 times at their combines or pro days of any team in the league. The Texans ranked 30th on that list, with an average 40 time of 4.62.
The thing is, though, the Texans' receivers are able to get open despite that.
