It looked like it was going to be a long shot for Houston Texans’ wide receiver Will Fuller to play this coming Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals after suffering a rib injury this past Sunday during a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien said that Fuller will not play against the Cardinals this week, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
“I’m not sure if he cracked it or not, but I would say he would miss the game,” O’Brien said.
Wilson also mentioned on Wednesday that the Texans are confident in veteran wide receiver Bruce Ellington to fill in for Fuller and they should be.
