Initial reports had your Houston Texans cutting former Penn State cornerback John Reid, as we announced yesterday.
However, it seems in a move somewhat reminiscent of Rick Smith, new Texans general manager Nick Caserio was able to get something in return for the 2nd year defensive back.
The #Texans are trading CB John Reid to the #Seahawks for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2023, per source.

Even though a conditional 7th round pick isn’t exactly a major asset, it’s a far sight better than getting nothing for one of the remaining Bill O’Brien holdovers.
