Houston Texans have announced that J.J. Watt, DeAndre Hopkins, and DeAndre Carter have been placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. Meanwhile, Texans have placed rookie linebacker Jamal Davis II, defensive lineman Walter Palmore, and tight end Kahale Warring on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.
It is not too much of a concern for Watt and Hopkins to be sidelined for the early portion of training camp as they are veterans that know the inner workings of a Texans training camp. Both were reported to have had surgery for respective injuries that occurred during this past season.
However, the trio of Texans’ rookies will have to return as soon as possible to their training camp program and preseason activities so they can get acclimated to the expectations set by the coaching staff.
