The Houston Texans reportedly have shown interest in former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne. At first glance the idea seems to make some sense considering Houston recently let go of wide out Andre Johnson, who coincidentally went to the Colts this offseason.
Indy felt letting the soon-to-be 37 year-old Wayne go in favor of the slightly younger 34-year old Johnson was a good move for them. So it would only seem fitting that the Texans take on the man that Johnson will be replacing.
However, after the offseason has already played out there is no need for Houston to bring in the wide receiver from the Colts, and here are three reasons why.
