Houston Texans signed linebacker Xavier Woodson-Luster to a contract to form part of their 90 man roster. Woodson-Luster is entering his second season in the NFL after going undrafted from Arkansas State in 2017. He is joining his fourth team after spending stints on the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, and Cleveland Browns.
Woodson-Luster signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent and earned a roster spot as a rookie contributing in their special teams unit. He saw action in 14 games and finished his first season in the NFL with 11 combined tackles. Woodson-Luster was waived towards the end of the season and signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad to a future/reserve contract.
